I think she was a complete mistake and shows McCain is just pandering for votes. I am still up in the air but this is a big strike against him.

I think John McCain picked Sarah Palin for a couple of reasons. First, he thought she would be popular - and boy did he get that right. More importantly, I think Senator McCain saw Governor Palin as somebody who could help him make the kind of changes that are needed in Washington. The Republicans in Washington have lost their way over the last eight-plus years. Senator McCain wants to get things back on track, and he thinks Governor Palin can help him. I agree; Governor Palin is just the person to help John McCain make the kind of real changes that we need in Washington.
