This is a pretty good video on the tarp fiasco last night at the Friendly Confines. As you can see, the grounds crew rolled the tarp out at the wrong angle, and then pulled too much on the left (facing the tarp) and not enough on the right.
Re the "Sodfather" reference: The Wrigley Field field was rebuilt during the 2007-2008 off-season. The new design, which actually works a lot better (when the grounds crew puts the tarp on right), was done by Roger Bossard, head of the grounds crew for the White Sox. Mr. Bossard is an expert in his field (sorry) and is known as the "Sodfather."
